It maps your childhood patterns, flow triggers, and unsupervised behaviors to specific careers, on the premise that the activities you pursued without external pressure as a child are a strong signal for work that sustains flow states and energy in adulthood.

The free career quiz takes roughly three minutes and returns a personalized archetype, a shortlist of matched careers with a quantified fit score, and concrete first steps. For people who want the deeper path, the platform layers in a 30-day execution blueprint, weekly sprints, and an AI coach.

The methodology

The product is built on four academic foundations: flow theory (Csíkszentmihályi), self-determination theory (Deci and Ryan), multiple intelligences (Gardner), and modern labor-market data. Every claim in a career guide either cites one of those foundations, published labor-market statistics, or aggregated responses from real MyPassion.AI quiz takers. Nothing generic, nothing invented.

The career transition roadmaps at mypassion.ai/transition are powered by the same anonymized dataset. Each page shows you how other real people with your background are approaching a specific career move, which skills transfer, and how long a realistic transition actually takes.

A note from the founder

I built MyPassion.AI because no existing career tool did what I actually needed when I was stuck in a role that looked perfect on paper and was grinding me down in reality. The surface-level personality quizzes you find online are designed for engagement, not for accurate self-knowledge. I wanted something that took my own childhood patterns and flow states seriously, translated them into specific career matches, and gave me a concrete plan to test those matches in the real world. That is what this platform does.
